Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with WA compact license in hand and 1+ year of experience for an outpatient radiation oncology role using Epic and advanced treatment technologies.

Details

• Short-term acute care Level III Trauma Center setting
• Adult outpatient radiation oncology work setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No float requirement between units
• Uses ARIA, GE, Varian 21 ex/ix, and TrueBeam treatment units
• Uses Epic for charting and Varis-Vision/ARIA for record and verify systems

Requirements

• Valid state license required if applicable, must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with CT simulation and treatment site simulation preferred
• Proficiency in radiation safety, beam modifying/positioning, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging
• Experience with IMRT, SRS, respiratory gating, and other advanced treatment modalities
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include pretreatment, simulation, and delivery of radiation therapy treatments for a range of conditions including prostate cancer, keloids, and heterotopic bone
• Scrubs of any color accepted across all units
• No parking fees at this facility
• Open to first-time travelers with required experience and WA license
• Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Minimal RTO accommodated; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Expected to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles
