Job Description

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for affordable housing construction projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to determine project scope and timelines.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.
• Develop and maintain cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Assist in value engineering and suggest cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator - Affordable Housing Construction should have:
