Wealth Management Associate

The Wealth Management Associate is often the first point of contact with clients on a broad array of services related to account servicing, financial plans and investment portfolios. Under the direction of the Financial Advisor / Private Wealth Advisor, this self‑starter must combine strong relationship‑building, marketing, and product knowledge to cultivate long‑standing client relationships and deliver a consistent, positive client experience. Responsibilities Establish and cultivate trusting relationships with new and existing clients, proactively helping them understand their investments and planning strategies. Assist Financial Advisors in developing and delivering financial and investment strategies that address each client’s specific goals and concerns. Lead a team‑wide effort to organize, streamline and enhance client experience, emphasizing value, service and attention to detail. Use the firm’s financial planning tools to analyze complex financial information and lead presentations with Financial Advisors. Prepare performance reports and other data for clients, evaluating account performance, analyzing investment portfolio holdings, and generating quarterly investment performance monitors. Provide ongoing support by educating clients about specific products and services offered at the firm. Develop presentation materials and proposals to assist Financial Advisors in cultivating new business opportunities. Participate in or conduct client meetings with or on behalf of the Financial Advisors. Assist clients with the execution of orders in brokerage and advisory accounts. Conduct market and stock research to support clients. Design and produce strategy reports and communications for clients and prospects as part of the overall marketing initiative. Conduct quarterly/annual business performance reviews in partnership with the Financial Advisor. Manage events, webinars and seminars by organizing, marketing and setting up venues in collaboration with the Financial Advisor. Develop customized presentation materials and manage performance measurements on existing accounts to market and attract new clients. Collaborate with the Financial Advisor to develop overall business plans and marketing strategies, including targeted events and customized seminars. Develop, implement and communicate enhanced service protocols, new procedures, products and portfolio enhancements to existing clients. Identify and implement practice management opportunities by interfacing with various departments across the firm. Coordinate enrollment campaigns and meetings for existing clients. Assign work to the team’s Client Service Associate as appropriate. Cultivate and develop relationships with business partners internally and externally. Provide tailored recommendations for clients’ specific situations and opportunities. Proactively participate in firm initiatives directed by local management. Qualifications 5+ years of work experience in a field relevant to the position. Four‑year college degree or professional certification preferred. Active SIE, Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses; additional product licenses may be required. Enjoy working with people and solving problems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of financial industry and investment products preferred. Strong understanding of compliance rules, regulations and firm policies. Ability to work independently and effectively on a team. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Detail‑oriented with superior organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Ability and interest in working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $68,000 to $120,000 per year. Eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation and participation in the business unit’s incentive plan.
