Construction Superintendent – Lead Jobsite Operations and Project Execution | KAIKER DEVELOPMENT + CONSTRUCTION Job Overview Company: KAIKER DEVELOPMENT + CONSTRUCTION Salary/Pay Rate: $70,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience) Location: Greater Cincinnati Area Job/Employment Type: Full Time Project Scope: Residential and Commercial Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License The Opportunity As a Construction Superintendent, you will take ownership of daily jobsite operations, coordinating subcontractors, field personnel, materials, inspections, and construction activities to keep projects moving safely and on schedule. You will work closely with Project Managers and upper management to communicate progress, address field issues, and ensure projects are completed to KAIKER’s quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for a dependable and proactive construction professional who takes pride in maintaining organized jobsites, solving problems in the field, and keeping teams aligned from start to finish. How You Will Make An Impact Manage daily jobsite operations, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain productivity and project momentum. Coordinate construction activities, sequencing, and manpower to keep projects aligned with established schedules. Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work. Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities meet project requirements and company quality standards. Conduct regular jobsite inspections and address field issues, conflicts, and deficiencies promptly. Enforce OSHA standards and company safety procedures throughout the jobsite. Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, inspections, site access, and other field logistics. Communicate project progress, delays, challenges, and concerns clearly with the Project Manager and management team. Maintain accurate daily field documentation, including manpower, weather, progress, site conditions, and jobsite activities. Lead subcontractor coordination meetings, safety meetings, and toolbox talks. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure jobsite throughout the project. Coordinate punch-list completion, final inspections, project closeout, and turnover. Required Qualifications & Experience Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar construction field leadership role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, building practices, and jobsite safety. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and scopes of work. Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and managing construction schedules. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing field conditions in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications & Experience OSHA 30 certification. Experience using construction management or project management software. Experience overseeing residential and/or commercial construction projects. Experience leading subcontractor coordination meetings, safety meetings, and toolbox talks. Strong track record of identifying and resolving jobsite issues before they impact the project schedule.
