Position Summary

The Civil / Structural Estimator develops estimates for site development, civil infrastructure, concrete, foundations, structural systems, utilities, and related construction scopes. The position supports preconstruction by reviewing drawings and specifications, performing takeoffs, developing detailed cost estimates, securing subcontractor and supplier pricing, identifying project risks, and supporting competitive bid development.

Key Responsibilities

• Review civil and structural drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Perform quantity takeoffs.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates.
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimates.
• Identify scope gaps, assumptions, exclusions, and project risks.
• Assist with subcontractor scope reviews and bid leveling.
• Maintain estimating documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Support project handoff to operations.

Preferred Background

• Civil, structural, concrete, or sitework estimating experience.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs.
• Ability to read civil and structural construction documents.
• Experience estimating labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Data center, industrial, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, or large commercial construction experience is beneficial.
