Job Description: Local rate is $-3 and is considered within 75 miles of the facility. Must submit certifications with submission as well as COVID card.

Requirements: ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) in hand, NJ State Nuclear Medicine State License - MUST OBTAIN prior to start - Takes 1-2 weeks. Shift: Call coverage is Mon-Fri 4:30p-8:30p, and 7a-7p weekends (rotated after training). Must float to Ridgewood if needed. No mileage will be reimbursed. Reliable transportation needed. Nuclear Medicine technologist with experience in general NM, cardiac, and PET/CT. Certified through the ARRT or NMTCB. CT certification preferred.

Travel Compliance: Must include the following to submit Candidate or WILL BE REDIRECTED: COVID: Proof of full series of COVID vaccinations and booster AT SUBMISSION. One supervisory/manager reference is required AT submission and MUST be within 1 year of the start date. If traveler is RN or Allied position and has worked in NJ in the past 7 years, YOU MUST CONFIRM with them the employer name (who paid them), address, and phone number, and make any updates to the profile accordingly. The facility requires a CN-9 and candidates will likely be PUSHED if this information is not correct on their profile at submission. CURRENT NJ or COMPACT LICENSE: in hand at time of submittal. All allied licenses/certs are required AT submission unless otherwise noted in the JD. Current Nursys for RNs is required for ALL submissions. Important Details: Local Resources Permitted at lower rate 75 Mile Radius. RNs must be prepared to complete a Basic Arrhythmia Exam that is not multiple choice. This exam requires you to independently interpret cardiac rhythms using EKG strips and perform necessary calculations to determine the correct answers. This is a PASS FAIL exam. A score of 80% is required and no re-takes are allowed. You should be able to: Accurately analyze EKG strips using systematic interpretation (rate, rhythm, P waves, PR interval, QRS complex, etc.), with measurements using the 5 steps process. Calculate heart rate using appropriate methods (e.g., 6-second strip, R-R interval). Identify and differentiate between rhythm types without prompts or answer choices. The exam will include, but is not limited to: Ventricular rhythms, Atrial rhythms, Heart blocks, Junctional rhythms, Paced rhythms. Strong foundational knowledge and the ability to apply critical thinking skills in rhythm interpretation are essential for success. Traveler must begin lab work within 2 business days of acceptance, or they are at risk of cancellation. Floating: All current and future travelers at the Valley Hospital Paramus and The Valley Hospital Float Pool are expected to float, as needed, to the Ridgewood Observation Unit (an offsite location in Ridgewood, NJ). Modules: Modules are both non-billable and billable. Non-Billable: time spent on modules during 8 hours of NBO. Billable: time spent on modules after orientation (ex: annually). Modules are completed pre-start during orientation and annually, and modules vary by specialty. Modules are self-reported as well as recorded via transcripts and facility reports.
