Mid-Level Java Developer

This is a W2 position, this position is not open to C2C or 3rd party vendors. You must be able to sit directly on Apex System's W2. The client is unable to hold/transfer or submit for Visa's.

Client: Privately held hospitality and vacation ownership company

Position: Mid-Level Java Developer

Length: Contract to Direct Hire (3-6 month contract, the Direct hire with client)

Location: Ocoee, FL 34761

Hourly Rate: 40-55/hr.w2

Salary Range: 90-110k

Technical Environment Overview: The environment is centered around Java-based backend architecture, primarily leveraging Java 17+ (with a transition toward newer versions such as Java 21 and beyond). Development is supported by the Spring and Spring Boot frameworks, with a focus on building and maintaining web-based applications and backend services.

Required Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• Core Java (Java 11+ preferred)
• Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Building and consuming REST APIs
• Experience working with Git-based version control systems
• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle preferred)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
