YOUR TASKS Develop and implement manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality, as well as cost efficiency. Oversee the design, purchase, and installation of new manufacturing equipment. Assess the manufacturability of new product designs and propose improved processes. Ensure that all manufacturing equipment and tools are maintained and functioning optimally. Coordinate with other engineering teams to ensure integrated and effective design outputs and processes. Monitor and improve scrap rates and develop strategies to reduce waste. Assist in improving facility safety and quality goals. Conduct detailed studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow. Understand and apply principles of lean manufacturing and just-in-time inventory management. Evaluate production and determine ways to improve efficiency of the production lines, including reducing reject rates and downtime. Work with safety teams to ensure the health and safety standards and requirements are met. Coordinate with quality control management to ensure the delivery of high quality products. Your Qualifications Starting Salary Range: $66,000-$78,000 (can be negotiable depending on experience) A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferred in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role. Proficient in CAD/CAM software. Understanding of manufacturing processes and production concepts such as workflow, assembly methods, and production equipment. Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills. Strong communication and report writing skills. Ability to project manage, multitask and prioritize. #J-18808-Ljbffr
