Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting data, analytics, business operations, and governance initiatives by translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. This role focuses on improving reporting and documentation while coordinating efforts between business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Support data mapping, metadata, lineage, and data-quality documentation.
Maintain project records, work tracking, status reporting, risks, and issue logs.
Coordinate with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to support delivery.
Assist with reporting, implementation tracking, and process improvement.
Support communication, documentation, and operational handoff activities.

Required Skills & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Public Health, Statistics, Business, or related field.
2+ years of business analyst and/or project management experience.
Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and use case development.
Strong skills in project documentation, compliance tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Experience with data governance, data lineage, metadata, and reporting.
Familiarity with data catalog or data governance tools.
Experience with grant-funded or compliance-driven programs.
Background in public health, healthcare, or related domains.
Experience leading workshops or training sessions.

Special Considerations:

Role requires coordination across multiple teams and vendors.
Focus on compliance and governance documentation.

Scheduling:

Hybrid work location.
12-month contract duration.
Interview conducted via webcam only.
