Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Job Description Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Sign on Bonus being offered Department: Float Pool Hours: 32 hours per week Shift: Nights Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend Position Summary Applies the nursing process with patients and families, integrating principles that reflect sensitivity to their age- specific/developmental needs, gender, culture, religion, psychosocial and socioeconomic backgrounds in order to provide evidence-based, holistic care in a manner that respects the worth and dignity of each individual. Practices professional nursing as a registered nurse within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice and Code for Nurses.
