Ultrasound Technologist - Radiology (Per Diem)

Location: Windham Community Memorial (10183) Shift: Per diem position with rotating call requirements Summary The Ultrasound Technologist performs technical procedures associated with ultrasound for the diagnosis of disease or injury. They provide patient services from neonatal through geriatric, using imaging modalities in an efficient, professional manner and with sensitivity to patient needs. They accurately document, file and maintain patient records, schedule exams and respond to patient or physician questions. They may also perform other duties pertaining to the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. Qualifications One year of formal training in ultrasonography preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply. Must maintain registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or provide proof of eligibility to become registered. Must be a graduate of an Allied Health training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
