About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience required - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias - IV start and telemetry skills - Experience with general surgical care Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancellation. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Local candidates are welcome. Skills required include IV start and telemetry. Patient population includes surgery patients, including colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, orthopedics, urology, and vascular. Unit ratios target is 1:6. Occasional floating might be required. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Teamwork and adherence to behavioral expectations in all interactions are essential. Must be open to floating within and near the facility as per job description. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting in this specialty. All RTO requests must be pre-approved. No RTO is permitted during the first week. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. Must adhere to the call-off policy, which is strictly enforced. Pre-start modules should be completed online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as the browser. All testing must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
