Job Description Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications Plan, schedules conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the surveying work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope Perform work that involves conventional surveying practice but may include a variety of complex features Direct conversations with clients at beginning, during, and end of projects Capable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments Seal professional surveying documents Job Requirements PLS Licensure/FDOT Precertification required 8 years of experience in Land Surveying Strong Computer Skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and Microsoft Office Prior experience with civil engineering projects preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of BGE employees, clients, and others Some Of Our Benefits 401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting Merit-Based Bonus Compensation Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans 9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays Personal Time Allowances 2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
