A master's degree in the teaching discipline (biology, microbiology, environmental science) or, a master's degree in another field with the equivalent of 18 semester hours of graduate-level coursework in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with students, peers, supervisors, and staff. Willingness to teach and communicate using a variety of instructional modes, email and online learning management systems. Commitment to meeting students' learning needs and empowering students in their learning endeavors. Personal and educational philosophy compatible with the mission, values, goals, and objectives of Central Ohio Technical College. Requires successful completion of a background check. Preferred Qualifications A doctorate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the subject area.
