Title: Permanent Substitute Special Education Aide (7.25 hrs per day) - Northside Intermediate & District Wide

Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for a Permanent Substitute Special Education Aide position at Northside Intermediate School. This position will be employed and compensated through Kelly Education but managed by the School District of Milton. Employment will begin as soon as possible and continue through June 4, 2027, with shifts consisting of 7.25 hours per day and up to 36.25 hours per week. Assignments may vary across district buildings based on substitute and student needs, with daily schedules determined by specific building assignments. Flexibility is a must!

Ideal candidates should commit to working the entire 2026-2027 school year and will receive compensation starting at $17.70 per hour for the first 19 days. After 19 days, compensation will increase to $18.30 per hour, retroactive to day one. Please contact Kelly Education regarding employment.

Qualifications:
The School District of Milton is seeking individuals who will be able to assist teachers working with students with disabilities, including academic, social, emotional and behavioral support, transporting, and clerical duties as well as potential personal care. Candidates should be organized, have strong communication skills, have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, lift 80 pounds, and be able to collaboratively work with others. The chosen permanent substitute special education aides will be required to obtain a Special Education Program Aide License O070 through the Department of Public Instruction.
