Collins Aerospace is seeking a Finishing Process Operator I to join our Pueblo, Colorado Brakes Team. You will work in a dynamic manufacturing operation that performs the finishing process for aircraft carbon brake discs. You will have the opportunity to be trained to work with state-of-the-art robotic equipment. You must be willing to learn and thrive in a team environment. Rotating Shift Rotating between day/night shift every 2 months. Pay $18/hr plus a shift differential of $2.25/hr. What You Will Do Load/unload small furnaces. Use handheld scanners to track and move parts. Precisely measure part dimensions and weights using handheld gauges and scales. Communicate to your Supervisor any potential mechanical or safety issues with the equipment. Strictly follow written procedures to maintain safety and ensure quality. Read drawings and operate robotic and automated equipment per manufacturing procedures. Document the process used to create/finish parts. Set up and clean robotic and automated equipment. Use basic to intermediate computer skills. Recognize issues with process equipment tolerance limits. Learn all Collins and customer specifications relating to finished, special processes, and policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a HS Diploma or a GED. Manufacturing or similar industry related experience. Qualifications We Prefer Manufacturing or assembly experience.
