Senior Equipment Repair Technician

Description: Maintain, Service, Repair, and Calibrate over 3,000 pieces of unique commercial off the shelf and military equipment that is purpose built for U.S. Army Special Operations.

This includes a wide-range of equipment that requires in-depth knowledge of Flame Spectroscopy, ION Mobility Spectrometry, Light Sensitation, and Detection Equipment that monitors neutron flux levels.

This position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.

Responsible for maintaining and developing protocols for special calibration gase, volatile organic compounds used for deterctor calibration.

Basic Qualifications:

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years' experience working in related field.

Must be able to obtain and retain a SECRET clearance.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Desired Skills:

Experience working with Special Operations

MS in Mechanical Engineering

Active TS/SCI

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
