Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Preferred availability on Wednesdays and Fridays

Days and hours are somewhat flexible for the right candidate.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice. This position is ideal for a provider who enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients and practicing evidence-based internal medicine in a collaborative outpatient setting. You will care for adult patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions while working alongside an experienced physician, PA, and supportive clinical staff.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage adult patients in an outpatient setting

Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses

Manage chronic medical conditions including:

Hypertension

Type 2 Diabetes

Obesity and medical weight management

Heart failure

Hyperlipidemia

Thyroid disorders

Chronic kidney disease

COPD and asthma

Perform annual wellness visits and preventive care

Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing

Adjust medications and develop individualized treatment plans

Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and disease prevention

Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Current Michigan PA or NP license

DEA license (or ability to obtain)

Board certification

Strong communication and patient education skills

Comfortable managing chronic diseases independently

Experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care preferred
