Magnolia Wellness Center is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for our Evening Shift, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM .

CNA Job Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Magnolia Wellness Center, you will provide hands-on resident care and support under the direction of licensed nursing staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents throughout the evening shift.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene .

• Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility .

• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs.

• Take and record vital signs , weights, and other measurements as directed.

• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the RN or LPN.

• Assist with meals, feeding, hydration, and nutritional needs.

• Provide comfort, companionship, and emotional support to residents.

• Follow individualized care plans and nursing instructions.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.

• Assist with maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms and common areas.

• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.

• Protect resident privacy, dignity, and independence.

• Work closely with RNs, LPNs, nurses, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team .

• Provide respectful, person-centered care to residents at all times.

CNA Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.

• Missouri CNA certification preferred/required based on facility requirements.

• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

• Previous CNA, skilled nursing, long-term care, nursing home, rehabilitation, assisted living, or healthcare experience is a plus.

• New CNAs are encouraged to apply.

• Dependable and reliable attendance.

• Compassionate attitude and genuine desire to care for others.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to follow directions and work effectively with nursing staff.

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of a CNA position, including standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning residents.
