Server Assistant ('AMA 'AMA) – Full Time, $18.25/Hour + Gratuities Responsible for creating an exceptional Aulani dining experience. Assist servers as necessary to provide exceptional guest service while bringing the story of Aulani to life in interactions. May be involved with role playing or themed restaurants. May be responsible for greeting guests, running food & drink orders, delivering items, and assisting with bussing and anticipating guests’ needs. Responsibilities Deliver orders to guests’ tables or staging area in the dining room/lounge area Welcome and interact with guests in a positive, friendly manner Deliver orders to guests in the pool service area as needed Use designated pivot points to deliver orders Check receipts and assemble orders for guests Possess knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation, including temperature requirements Judge food quality and production, understanding impact of spoilage Ensure food presentation meets fresh and quality standards Replenish food and serving items on the serving line as necessary Anticipate guests’ needs and assist with directions, event schedules, and other information Pre-bus tables or seat guests as required Perform side work such as cleaning work areas, stocking area, polishing silverware, folding/rolling napkins Replenish clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room Buss tables, dispose of trash, maintain cleanliness of all restaurant areas, transport dishes and silverware to dish room, assemble guest food orders, and deliver to dining room Basic Qualifications Hawaii Liquor Commission card (state requirement) At least 18 years of age Excellent hospitality skills Ability to multitask in fast‑paced environment Speed, accuracy, and efficiency under pressure Ability to own and resolve guest situations Self‑directed and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision Willingness to follow instructions and take direction Flexible/adaptable Supportive of teammates Able to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality Strong verbal communication skills Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather Flexible with shift schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events Ability to bend, twist, kneel, lift, and balance bus trays (45‑75 lbs); push/pull up to 100 lbs, occasionally 150 lbs; walk/stand constantly; use hands constantly Exposed to cleaning chemicals; latex gloves required when working with food product Preferred Qualifications Previous restaurant or full‑service environment experience Fine‑dining or table‑service experience Knowledge of Hawaiian/Japanese language Schedule Availability Full time – availability required seven (7) days per week, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
