Distribution Facilities Specialist

Quality Assurance SpecialistServes as specialist and technical advisor for the control and standardization of quality assurance responsibilities. Assesses the compliance of SP performance to established requirements through various surveillance methods. Implements the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for these functions and documents the Service Provider's (SP's) performance. Plans, coordinates, and conducts inspections to ensure the Service Provider (SP) is performing at the acceptable performance levels and meeting the established performance criteria. Assesses service quality relative to the operations and procedures for Receiving, Inventory, Transportation and Shipping Operations, Packaging and stock readiness program, Storage and warehousing operations and Surveillance of care of supplies in storage (COSIS). Determines methods of accumulating data to best reflect results, and, if required, to assist the SP in isolating the cause of a problem based on analysis of data obtained from implementation of the SP's Quality Control/Customer Satisfaction Plan. Monitors, surveys, and develops monitoring and surveillance schedules for storage and inventory functions. Provides technical assistance to the SP and CGA staff.
