- Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic assessments, and developing personalized care strategies
- Assessing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions collaboratively with other healthcare providers or autonomously based on your credentials
- Providing education to patients and their families regarding preventive care, wellness, and ongoing health management
- Prescribing medications and therapies in line with your professional standards
- Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management initiatives
- Working together with interdisciplinary teams to secure seamless, comprehensive care
- Maintaining meticulous and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment complemented by an empathetic patient approach
- Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities with patients, families, and colleagues
