What You Will Do: Perform a variety of hand and machine fusion welding ( Mig and Tig) operations to construct powder containers at a higher skill level. Perform routine maintenance work on equipment with little to no supervision to optimize uptime. Prepare all parts to be fitted together for fabrication, i.e., grinding, polishing, and cleaning Fabrication of stainless steel extrusion cans Sealing and preparing cans for shipment Comply with all company rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook. May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills Support the cell’s continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment Basic level computer skills (General use of Microsoft Office) Clear understanding of shop mathematics involving decimals and fractions. Requires a working knowledge of fusion welding processes and terminology. Ability to work alone with little to no supervision • Ability to problem solve minor fabrication & equipment issues The position will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday (4x10) 2:00pm - 12:00am (7th shift). The pay range is $24.00 per hour; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
