It includes state-of-the-art operating suites. Various Trauma level I, II, and III cases are flown to the facility due to its location. Healthcare is provided to the surrounding region. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation. The hospital also has a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. The facility has received accreditation for its PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory services. It has been recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. The facility is located in a picturesque valley surrounded by outdoor recreational opportunities. It features three rivers, four golf courses, five lakes, and six National Parks. The area offers attractions such as hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. The emergency department has 48 beds with flexible space. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track. Equipment includes Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, and Ultrasound Guided IV. The Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in use is Cerner. The departmental team utilizes a team nursing and pod system. A social worker is assigned to the department along with a unit educator. Common diagnoses treated include ESRD, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain. The required education is RN ADN. This position is created to replace a contractor.
