Shift Manager – McDonald's Franchisee This position is for a Shift Manager at a McDonald’s franchise restaurant. The franchisee is the employer; McDonald’s USA has no involvement in employment decisions. Job Responsibilities Lead shifts, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service. Provide leadership to crew and other managers during each shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness. Plan shifts, monitor performance, take corrective action to meet McDonald’s standards. Monitor safety, security, and profitability; communicate with the next Shift Manager to aid smooth transitions. Assist departments in meeting targets and achieving goals. Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications and Requirements Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail, or hospitality. Positive team player with flexible schedule. Must be 18 years or older. Strong commitment to a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
