Customer Sales Representative

At Spikes and Houles in Elk River we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team and provide exceptional service for our customers! If you love working with people and are ready to take on a fun, fast-paced environment, we want YOU! This position will offer up to 20 hours/week. Candidates must be available to work some evenings (3p-7p) during the week and have weekend availability. As a Customer Sales Representative, you’ll be helping customers with their needs both inside the store and the garden center, whether it's selecting the perfect feed, offering expert advice, or assisting with our wide variety of lawn and garden products. You’ll be at the heart of our store, ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience while: Greeting customers and providing personalized solutions. Assisting with product recommendations, warranties, and replacement parts. Keeping the store organized and stocked with seasonal items. Operating cash registers and managing payment transactions. Maintaining outdoor displays and helping customers with their purchases, including our carry-out service. Safely handling live chicks and other seasonal products. Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to safely unload trucks and pull customer orders. Contributing to the store’s visual displays and keeping everything neat and tidy. Essential Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age or 18+ to cross train on warehouse equipment. 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred. Availability to work some evenings (3p-7p) and weekend hours. Ability to stand for 4+ hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks (bending, stooping, etc.).
