Overview
Occupational Therapist – Acute Care travel assignment in Monterey, California. Start date 12/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range of $2,421 to $2,488 per week with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift is 5x8 Days (08:00–16:30). Assignment setting: Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for adult residents and contribute to developing individualized treatment plans
- Implement age-appropriate OT interventions to maximize independence in activities of daily living
- Facilitate activities to improve mobility, coordination, cognitive skills, and upper-extremity function
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in medical records
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy, social work) to coordinate comprehensive resident care
- Support discharge planning and provide home exercise instructions and caregiver education as appropriate

Requirements
- Active California Occupational Therapist license
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Relevant experience in acute care and/or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment and adapt to a travel assignment schedule
- Ability to pass credentialing and background checks as part of the assignment process
