We are seeking an experienced Residential Leasing Consultant who understands the value of leasing while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This individual will be responsible for driving occupancy, converting leads into leases, and building strong relationships with prospective and current residents. the market is changing and they have a lot of long-term staff and need drivers, people to respond to internet leads, Zillow, AppFolio excellent communication and negotiation skills

•Approximately 385-unit residential community

•Traditional multifamily leasing environment

Responsibilities

•Generate and follow up on leasing leads

•Conduct apartment tours and convert prospects into signed leases

•Achieve occupancy and leasing goals while maximizing property revenue

•Maintain strong customer service throughout the resident lifecycle

•Process rental applications and lease documentation

•Coordinate move-ins and resident communications

•Maintain prospect traffic reports and leasing activity

•Assist with marketing and outreach initiatives

•Work closely with the Property Manager to improve occupancy and resident retention

•Stay informed on local market conditions and competitor activity

Qualifications

•2+ years of residential apartment leasing experience preferred

•Experience with traditional multifamily communities

•Strong closing and sales skills (“leasing for profit” mindset)

•Excellent customer service and communication skills

•Ability to multitask in a high-volume leasing office

•Professional presentation and positive attitude

•Experience with AppFolio property management software preferred (but if have Yardi, OneSite, RealPage, Entrata, MRI, or similar will train on system)

•Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Preferred Background

•Proven success increasing occupancy

•Experience working within professionally managed apartment communities

•Comfortable working with leasing goals, traffic reports, and conversion metrics

Reports directly to the Property Manager.
