Responsibilities Mercy’s Institute for Gynecologic Care is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech to work at our Columbia office. This position performs all ultrasound exams/procedures as ordered by our referring physicians. The role is accountable for all peripheral activities associated with each test/procedure, including identifying patients, educating patients and family members, validating orders and ordering physicians, completing all paperwork, completing all Meditech entries, transferring images, and ensuring that ordering physicians receive final results. Requirements Education and Work Experience: Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Must be a graduate of an Ultrasound accredited program with ARDMS certification. 3 years experience in general sonography. Certification Requirements: ARDMS – American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Healthcare Provider Level CPR Other Requirements: Ultrasound procedures, good communication, good patient care, team work, customer service, procedure flexibility and multitasking. Salary Information Min: USD $37.75/Hr. Max: USD $67.95/Hr. Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid‑portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
