Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends Required | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in on-call duties and weekend shifts as required by the facility
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols and comply with all facility policies, including float requirements to sister facilities as needed
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Level III NICU experience
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are also encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience floating between units or facilities in a travel or per-diem capacity
