Are you a reliable, safety-minded driver with a passion for supporting a mission-driven food service team? Our Culinary Center is looking for dependable CDL Drivers to ensure timely, accurate delivery of meals and supplies across our network. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and ready to be part of a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

• Transport meals and supplies using company vehicles to schools and satellite sites.• Load and unload products with care, ensuring accurate delivery of goods.• Maintain a daily vehicle log, odometer tracking, and weekly vehicle check reports.• Keep company vehicles clean and report any mechanical issues promptly.• Communicate effectively with the office and team throughout the day.• Adhere to all motor vehicle laws and Whitsons Driver Policy Guidelines.• Ensure proper documentation is completed for each delivery (receipts, logs, etc.).• Perform additional duties as needed to support warehouse and logistics operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• A valid driver’s license appropriate to the class of vehicle being driven.• Clean driving record – safety first!• Reliable, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move products safely and efficiently.• Strong attention to detail and organization.• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).• Must pass background check and drug screening.• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Must complete all Whitsons and government required training as required

Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

• Class A driver’s license in good standing. To be considered in good standing, the license must not have any moving violations or at fault accidents within 4 years.

• Excellent driving record is required.

• Knowledge of all state regulations regarding height and weight maximums and truck operation.

• OSHA familiarity/training

• On-the-job training is provided.

• Basic English Reading

• Able to pass background screening

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, specifically the packing and warehousing areas

• Driving in sitting position while in vehicle much of the workday is required.

• Standing some of the workday is required.

• Work requires movement in and out of vehicle and moving product in and out of vehicle.

• Work requires movement in and out of store rooms, near heavy machinery and freezers

• Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.

• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

Work Schedule

Five days a week including Saturday and Sunday. Hours subject to change
