Univesco, Inc. is an established, family-owned and managed property management company headquartered in Plano, Texas. With over four decades of experience, we own and operate approximately 4,000 apartment units across Texas.

 

We are seeking a motivated and professional Leasing Consultant to join our team at one of our DFW-area communities. You will play a key role in maintaining high occupancy and delivering exceptional resident experiences. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the face of our community, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, showcasing our beautiful apartment homes, and building lasting relationships with our current residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct property tours, and highlight community features and amenities.
• Handle inbound inquiries (phone, email, walk-ins) and follow up to convert leads into leases.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and compliant.
• Assist with resident retention through excellent customer service and community events.
• Market available units through outreach efforts.
• Maintain accurate resident files and records in property management software.
• Collaborate with the property management team to achieve occupancy goals.

Qualifications:

• At least 6-12 months of current experience in multi-family housing or a relevant field (e.g., sales or customer service).
• Knowledge of leasing rules, regulations, and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and show attention to detail.
• Keen attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, outgoing personality and a customer service mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, OneSite) is a plus.
