Help Desk Analyst

Salary: $112,000 - 152,000 per year Requirements:

• We require an associate degree in computer science, technical or vocational training, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• We require at least 1 year of customer support experience in a technical environment.
• We require 1 to 3 years of technical support experience.
• We require scripting proficiency with one or more of the following: PowerShell, VBScript, WinBatch, or Batch scripting.
• We require the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• We require readiness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• We require strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• We require solid technical aptitude and a positive, professional demeanor.
• We require the ability to create and maintain operating system images.
• We prefer familiarity with software and operating system deployment through automation.
• We prefer A+ certification.
• We prefer Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician certification.
• We require a valid drivers license, with eligibility to meet our fleet and insurance requirements.
• We require the physical ability to perform active work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

• We evaluate, install, configure, test, and repair user PCs, hardware, and software issues.
• We provide first- and second-level desktop support for our hospital and affiliated clinics.
• We log support requests in detail, including the issue, resolution path, priority, and related notes, and route them to the appropriate team when needed.
• We maintain and refresh documentation and knowledge base articles tied to our support processes.
• We work directly with end users to diagnose problems, identify effective solutions, and resolve technical incidents.
• We prepare for and contribute to meetings with supervisors and other stakeholders, sharing progress updates, future needs, and gaps or deficiencies.
• We keep our technical knowledge current and stay alert to emerging tools and technologies.
• We collaborate with management and development partners to introduce new technologies into the organization.
• We participate in technology forums and industry user groups to support ongoing learning.
• We follow our change management process for all system modifications.
• We communicate problem status to management and recommend improvements to systems and support practices.
• We document, maintain, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems as needed.
• We track and update assets in our asset management systems.
