Member Services Representative (Remote) Location: Fully Remote Residency Requirement: Candidates must live within 60 miles of Virginia Beach, VA to be considered. As a Member Services Representative, you will assist members with a variety of financial products and services, respond to inquiries, process transactions, and provide solutions that help meet their financial needs. This is a fast-paced, structured contact center environment where professionalism, adaptability, and a customer-first mindset are key to success. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming member inquiries in a high-volume contact center environment Deliver exceptional customer service through active listening, empathy, and problem-solving Assist members with accounts and transactions including: Savings and checking accounts Consumer loans Credit cards IRAs and other financial products Research and resolve member concerns using multiple systems and applications Educate members on additional products and services that may benefit them Maintain accuracy and compliance while handling sensitive financial information Meet performance metrics including quality, attendance, schedule adherence, and member satisfaction What We're Looking For Call center/customer service Administrative support Receptionist/secretarial experience Banking, mortgage, or financial services High-volume retail environments Other fast-paced professional settings Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously Ability to work in a structured, schedule-driven environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to remain professional and engaged during back-to-back customer interactions Work Environment & Schedule Expectations This position supports a 24/7/365 contact center operation, and flexibility is essential. Important Schedule Information Scheduled breaks and meal periods must be taken as assigned Most shifts operate within a flexible one-hour start/end time window Candidates must be available for a 9.5-hour daily availability window to accommodate scheduling flexibility Expect to handle back-to-back inbound calls for most of your shift Representatives may be scheduled to take calls for up to four consecutive hours before a break Why Join Us? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
