Every project is different, but what they all have in common is the sophistication of the design and the industry’s highest standard of quality.**POSITION SUMMARY:**As a key member of the Fabrication team, the Material Prep Technician is responsible for preparing fabricated metal parts by grinding, sanding, and finishing them to meet quality standards.Responsibilities**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Sand, grind, and finish fabricated metal, acrylics, and other parts using hand and power tools* Ensure smooth, clean surfaces free of imperfections or sharp edges* Follow blueprints, drawings, or work instructions as required* Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality* Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order* Adhere to safety procedures and workplace cleanliness standards* Act as a shop hand or production helper as neededQualifications**QUALIFICATIONS:*** Ability to use various hand tools, grinders, and sanding equipment* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic* Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods* Willingness to work in a fast-paced, production environment**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:*** Previous experience in metal finishing, grinding, or sandingJob Benefits**COMPANY SALARY/BENEFITS:**CREO offers a strong culture focused on career growth and development, along with a competitive compensation package.
