CorMedical is accepting applications for a full time Medical Assistant for an employer on-site primary care clinic. We provide care to employees and their spouses/dependents 18 years and older. The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8a-5p. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, PTO, paid holidays, and 401k with a company match.• Assists nurse practitioner with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks.• Obtains medical history and vital signs• Administers medication/injections• Administer EKG, phlebotomy, urinalysis, testing, etc.• Rotate through both front and back office• Front office duties include scheduling, checking in/out patients, insurance verification, collection of copays, answering phones, etc.• Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services.• Conveys a positive image of the clinic.EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:• High school degree or equivalent required.• 1 year of primary care office or urgent care setting preferred.• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.• Front office experience preferred but not requiredLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required
