Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Florida

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:30 - 18:00) with weekend and on-call requirements.

Job Description: The Interventional Radiology Technologist will perform a range of imaging procedures and assist in various interventional treatments. The professional will work within a fast-paced environment, focusing on vascular procedures and specialized imaging techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures and assist in diagnostic imaging.
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment, including biplane technology.
• Conduct patient assessments and ensure the safety protocols are followed.
• Administer contrast agents and manage patient care during procedures.
• Provide support for various interventional procedures including stents, ablations, and thrombectomies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum one year of experience in interventional radiology.
• Valid ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) and Interventional Radiography (ARRT VI) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Florida state license required.
• Proficiency in using Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Experience with vascular imaging procedures (e.g., angiograms, stenting techniques).
