Site: Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. Job Summary The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Flex nurses generally work 24 hours per week, though hours may flex up or down by 12 hours within a week based on patient care requirements. Call is required for this position. Flex time nurses in a 24‑hour position will receive health and dental benefits consistent with those for regularly scheduled 30‑hour nurses. Flex nurses are paid each week based on hours worked and/or benefit time used. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] AHA BLS certification required AHA ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer into position De‑escalation training required within 60 days of hire or transfer into position Experience One (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
