Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist — Terrell, TX (75160) A day in the life

You arrive at our Terrell facility and review the maintenance dashboard: a packaging line is due for preventive service, a hydraulic press needs a calibration check, and last night’s work orders await sign-off. You’ll move from diagnostics to hands-on repair, collaborating with operators and teammates to keep production humming and downtime low.

• Execute routine service and corrective repairs on plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Perform inspections and scheduled preventive maintenance to sustain peak performance.
• Log work orders, parts used, and actions taken; maintain accurate repair records.
• Partner with peers to improve processes and bolster equipment reliability.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist with installing and commissioning new machines when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training in industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Hands-on experience as an industrial maintenance professional or in a closely related role.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, prints, and schematics.
• Sharp troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication and effective teamwork habits.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
