Job Description UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Internal Medicine / Cardiac Unit .

WORK SCHEDULE

90% or 100% FTE Variable shifts Department Description Our general Internal Medicine/Cardiology unit is a 30-bed medical/surgical unit that provides care and treatment to general internal medicine and cardiology patients. We care for patients with a variety of medical illnesses including pneumonia, liver and gastro-intestinal disorders, infections, diabetes, renal compromise, auto-immune disorders, heart failure, and acute myocardial infarctions. Telemetry monitoring is provided. Primary Job Responsibilities Provide acute patient care Triage patient care priorities in collaboration with the nursing supervisor Follow evidence-based nursing practices Monitor and administer medications and IVs Requirements One year current/recent med-surg nursing experience preferred Licensed to work as an RN in the State of Washington Active BLS certification Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
