About the Position

• Requirements: Physician Assistant ONLY, Active PA license and DEA, ACLS, BLS, PALS. Must be local enough to drive in. 
• Schedule: Primarily nights 7p-7a. Approximately 6-12 shifts per month.

• Wide variety of ED patients with a focus on lower acuity patients
• See patients, perform some administrative tasks (radiology review, blood work review when needed although generally
  performed by employed staff)
• typically 1-2 patients/hour per provider per shift
• MD shifts run 3p-1a, 5p-3a and 9p-7a so a physician is always present at night
• There is a trauma service in hospital 24/7 that also covers acute care general surgery consults 24/7.
