Number of Beds: 9 LDR; 8 PP/GYN; 2 OR suites; 23 wellborn nursery

Number of Staff: 50+

Type of staff: Day Shift Director; Manager; Couplet nurses; Birth response nurse; L&D nurses; Scrub Tech

Night Shift Clinical coordinator or charge nurse; Birth response; couplet; L&D nurses; Scrub Tech

Patient Ratios: 3 couplets/1 nurse; L&D = 1:1 active labor/Pitocin/epidural

Type of equipment: Corometrics EMR Centricity Perinatal & Meditech

Hiring Profile

Must have: OB experience BLS, ACLS, NRP & AWHONN

Preferred or nice to have: Cesarean section circulator, 1st assist, scrub

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Labor & Delivery; cesarean sections; post-partum & newborn care OBED triage; inductions; midwives

Best personality Fit: Energetic and self-directed

Floating Area(s): Within the unit nowhere else in the facility

Dress Code: We provide scrubs

Weekends and On call: 4 weekend shifts/4 week schedule: days are Saturday/Sunday; nights are Friday/Saturday No call requirement for travel staff, however, there may be opportunity for extra shifts
