Job Description Food & Beverage Attendant – Part time – Elk Grove, CA – Hotel: Elk Grove Hampton Inn & Suites – 2305 Longport Ct – 95758 Starting Compensation: $18.00 per hour – Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.24 per hour (BOE) Shift Availability: Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00AM to 11:00AM. Must be able to work both weekend mornings consistently. Location: Next to I‑5. Free parking. Full benefits after 90 days. Paid vacation time. DailyPay. Expected Job Closing Date: 2025-06-23 Key Responsibilities Complete the sanitization, disinfection, and cleanliness of the work area, including countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration equipment. Present complementary breakfast and evening reception by obtaining supplies, clearing dishes, wiping tables, and restocking buffet areas. Provide a high level of customer service, including resolving customer concerns warmly and professionally. Perform duties of a complementary bartender, busser, cook, or server as needed. Know menus, presentation, and preparation methods. Ensure that all food is stored in proper containers the proper storage and holding temperatures. Work with all employees as a team to ensure smooth operation of food production. Facilitate shift changes and relay any pertinent information to the supervisor or next shift employees. Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation to keep guests and employees safe from cross‑contamination. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Perform any other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. Qualifications Previous customer‑service experience. Previous food‑service experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Food Safety Training certified, or become certified within the first 60 days. Alcohol Awareness certified, or become certified within the first 60 days. Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally and 15lbs regularly. Able to bend and squat repeatedly. Able to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift.
