Principal IT Systems Administrator

A company is looking for a Principal IT Systems Administrator. Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of Linux servers and Kubernetes containers, ensuring security and stability Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance and implement automation strategies Serve as a primary point of contact for Linux-related activities and lead the development of technical documentation and policies Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science and at least 7 years of industry experience Strong RHEL/Linux/Unix background and scripting experience (Shell/Perl/Python or related language) Experience with designing/managing virtual infrastructures (VMWare/Nutanix/Hyper-V) Strong understanding of network protocols and principles (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) Expertise in creating, analyzing, and maintaining large-scale infrastructure deployments
