About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive commercial strategy. The CCO will be responsible for setting the overall commercial direction, ensuring the alignment of business development activities with the company's vision and goals, and driving efforts to secure new partnerships and expand the client base. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in strategic planning, revenue growth, and market expansion, particularly in the IRO, pharma, or CRO industry. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the sales process, creating and implementing market and branding strategies, and building a high-performing commercial team. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, clinical, and research, is essential to align commercial initiatives with service delivery capabilities. Applicants for the CCO position at the company should possess exceptional strategic planning and execution capabilities, as well as outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required, with an MBA preferred, and a minimum of 12 years of leadership experience in the industry. The role demands a hands-on leader who can identify, coach, and develop talent, and who is adept at managing multiple high-priority projects. The CCO will also be responsible for ensuring that the commercial team has the necessary tools, systems, and processes to support their activities and that they are meeting the company's revenue and margin goals. The position is hybrid, with a mix of home-office and corporate office work, and may require up to 50% travel.
