Shift- 12hr Night Shift - 36

Shift Information- 9pm - 9am (every Thursday/Friday/Saturday)

On Call, Call Back Requirements- No

Weekend Rotation- This position is every Thursday/Friday/Saturday

Yes - One holiday requirement of Labor Day 9/7 from 230p - 11p

JOB DESCRIPTION

● About Facility:

o 182 licensed beds

o Trauma Level IV Designation

o Teaching Hospital

o Chest Pain Center

o Stroke Center

o Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

● Department Information:

o Average patients/day across modalities: 325

o Minimum Years of Experience required: at least 1 year

o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes

● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

o Will see a variety of diagnoses across ED, Inpatient and Outpatient areas

● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

o All modalities will require photo ID – collected during compliance process

o NC State Licensure is not required

o Dual Modality CT/DX: BLS; ARRT (R)(CT)

● Skills required:

o Varies based on modality – discussed during interview

● Support within the Department:

o Nursing, Transport

● Technology/Equipment:

o EMR: EPIC

o Department specific Equipment: Siemens, GE

● Floating: If yes, where?

o N/A

● Orientation (facility and unit) :

o NEO – online courses

o 3-5 days departmental depending on modality

● Scheduling:

o Weekend rotation : depends on position – discussed during interview

o Call Required: Depends on modality – discussed during interview

o Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays

o RTO: Manager approval

o Shift times: Varies with modality. This will be listed on the e-form request

o Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
