Lifespan Clinician

Position Summary The Integrated Health Care Clinician provides clinical and case management services for children and adults across the lifespan in an integrated health care setting that provides primary care, behavioral health and dental services. The Integrated Health Care Clinician will foster positive working relationships with co‑workers, clients and external key stakeholders. Compensation Salary: $58,000 per year. Sign‑on bonus: $10,000, half paid at start and the other half paid at 1 year of service. Eligible for up to $250,000 in loan repayment through National Health Service Corp (NHSC). Education and Experience / Qualifications Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or related license‑eligible field, or a doctoral degree in Psychology is required. Licensure Requirements For Clinical Positions Credential(s) Required: Must be licensed or license‑eligible LPCA, LMFTA, LPC, LMFT or Psychologist. If you are an MSW, a LMSW (permit or license) or LCSW will be required to begin employment. Conduct program‑specific screening and evaluation and formulate diagnosis per DSM. Develop and document clear clinical formulations and treatment plans that are individualized and measurable; collaborate with client/family and others using behavioral health screening, and include behavioral health, primary care, and dental goals. Demonstrate knowledge of psychopathology and primary modalities of psychotherapy, including individual, group and family. Correctly triage clinical emergencies, including suicide and danger to others. Use best practices and evidence‑based practice models for psychotherapy where appropriate. Provide or refer to group therapy as required; use topic‑oriented, focused, time‑limited group therapy when appropriate. Demonstrate knowledge of psychotropic medications; complete clinical documentation in a timely manner. Engage in facilitating group (outpatient or intensive outpatient) and seeing patients across the lifespan when necessary. Demonstrate knowledge of internal and external levels of care, referral processes and resources; make clinically appropriate referrals in a timely manner. Communicate in a positive, effective manner with client, family, and internal and external providers; attend required meetings and multidisciplinary treatment team planning meetings. Meet direct service productivity goals defined by program; adhere to practice standards and data collection and reporting protocols. Document all client related information in compliance with agency policy. Attend and prepare for scheduled supervision; seek additional supervision or consultation as needed. Interface and collaborate with community providers to provide positive system development for clients and families, promoting Wheeler Clinic’s reputation as a quality service provider. Provide culturally competent care and maintain sensitivity to clients’ cultural traditions, values, and beliefs. Report child abuse/neglect as mandated; adhere to confidentiality guidelines and ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Continue to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of served groups; use appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect cultural understanding. #J-18808-Ljbffr
