Job Summary:
The position is for an Ultrasonographer specializing in Echocardiography (Echo) located in Stockton, California. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves performing all cardiac studies for adult patients across various areas of the hospital, utilizing department-specific equipment including Philips iE33 and Epic radiology systems. The schedule consists of 10-hour day shifts on an every other weekend basis.

Job Details:

• Location: Stockton, California
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts only, days, every other weekend as needed
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; BLS Certification; Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI; minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric echo experience, response time within 30 minutes
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: At least 2 full years of echocardiography experience; proficiency with department-specific equipment such as Philips iE33 and Epic
• Additional Information:
  • The echocardiography team will perform studies in all hospital areas with an average of 8-10 scans per day
  • No RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants) are used
  • Radiologists are in-house for consultation
  • No department-specific IV starts required
  • No call or standby requirement
  • The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments, with the possibility of paying for full hours in lieu of cancellation
  • The charting system used is Cerner
  • Shift notes: Days, every other weekend, first to float
