In 2022, GCS joined Albers Aerospace, expanding its capabilities and reach within the defense industry.

With a new 160,000 sq. ft. facility opening in Amarillo, Texas, in late 2024, GCS continues to grow, offering advanced manufacturing capabilities, including machining, welding, and robotics.

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. If you have experience working with aluminum or are eager to learn, we provide training to support your professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret schematics, codes, and standards to fabricate metal components
• Rig, fabricate, and assemble metal parts according to specifications
• Perform machining tasks such as drilling, grinding, and welding
• Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and adherence to standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a fabricator/welder or in a similar role
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, codes, and standards
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes
• Skilled in rigging, fabricating, and assembling metal parts
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise

Work Environment:

This position is based in a warehouse setting where teamwork and efficiency are essential.

Shift:

Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
