Environmental Services Technician - Providence Valdez

Description We are hiring for Environmental Services Technician positions in the EVS department at Providence Valdez Medical Center in Valdez, Alaska! Schedules Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Variable shift, 40 hours per week. Part Time, 0.5 FTE, Variable shift, 20 hours per week. Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable shift, hours as needed. Responsibilities The Environmental Services Technician safely cleans and maintains the physical environment in accordance with state licensing and administrative standards. Inspects, sorts, and washes soiled linen. Provides an adequate supply of clean, folded linen to each department. Qualifications Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare setting. Compensation Pay range: $19.41 - $29.08 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
